Joe Laskero has been skating since he was 3 years old and playing competitively since he was 4 years old. He grew up playing for the Orland Park Vikings and then played 2 years of AAA hockey at Team Illinois. After that, he then moved on to play AA hockey for the Romeoville Huskies. He was recruited to play for the Breezy Point North Stars in the NA3HL for his first year of playing juniors. He then moved out east to play in the USPHL elite and premier divisions before it was changed to the NCDC for his last 2 years for the Syracuse Stars. After his junior career he went to Adrian College and played at the ACHA level, then transferred to Trine University after his freshman year at Adrian. He graduated with his Bachelors in May of 2020 with a Business Administration and Marketing degree, and finished up his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) the spring semester of 2021. Joe explains... "I have been involved in coaching since I was 16, doing camps for my old coaches around the Chicagoland area. I have been doing private lessons and mini clinics for 4+ years now. I absolutely love the game of hockey and will never be able to leave the sport. All I want for the kids I will be coaching now and in the future is to have a fair and equal opportunity to advance to the next level through hard-work, passion, and pure love of the sport. I went through a lot obstacles throughout my hockey career starting from a young age to even my college career. After experiencing such obstacles, I want to be with each and every player that comes through DHD by taking every step of the way with them regardless of their skill level and background. Hence why Coach Russell Barone and myself are starting Dynamic Hockey Development to further and brighten the young hockey careers of every player that comes to us for growth in the game of hockey."
