My son has worked with Coach Russ for 2 years. His skills have become sharper and his knowledge of the game deeper. He loves skating year round with Coach Russ and even when lessons are early hops out of bed to attend, which tells me everything I need to know about how he is enjoying it, As a parent, Coach Russ is responsive and communicative. He very much takes an interest in each player he is working with.

My son who was 12 at the time went to Russ for some morning skates. I thought Russ provided great drills and seem to work with each individual on the ice based on their skill level or areas of specific improvement. Russ was very detail oriented and I truly believe he brings a lot of knowledge to the game and is a good teacher.

Coach Barone has a vast amount of knowledge from his playing and coaching experience at many levels. He has an excellent understanding of how to teach players of all abilities by utilizing multiple techniques to improve their understanding and application of skills and hockey knowledge.

Coach Russell Barone is a very knowledgeable, dedicated, organized and passionate hockey coach/instructor. Coach Barone's attention to detail, ability to educate, his work ethic and infectious positive attitude qualifies him as an elite hockey professional. We can see a direct correlation between training and game performance.
