Service Description

Dynamic Hockey Development is excited to announce we will be teaming up with Prodero Hockey this Spring for a unique camp in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In addition to on-ice and off-ice training, each participant will be given customized instructions on performance evaluation that they can use to measure their improvements after the camp is over. This includes both hockey specific self-assessment, self-training mechanisms, exercise physiology tools, and self-awareness to optimize player performance and promote lifelong habits and skills. **This is a High Level Camp and admittance is selective. For consideration contact us at dynamichockeyllc@gmail.com**. The camp will be split into three segments... Ice Sessions and Video Analysis - On-ice and video sessions will coincide with each other. We will utilize video to reinforce the skills we teach by illustrating examples of them being performed correctly by professionals. This provides a better understanding of where and when to utilize these skills, along with how to perform them. Each session will be themed, detailed, and structured in a manner that's easy absorbable and reproducible. Dry-land Itinerary - Day 1: Wellness optimization Lectures educating players on how to optimize their performance away from the rink. Most of the day is spent away from the rink. How are you optimizing that time? Day 2: Cognitive Training Tools Stickhandling exercises and routines that makes stickhandling at home game applicable Day 3: Hockey specific yoga course Will be provided with a course outline to take home. This is a routine that should be used weekly during the depths of the season or intense training phases. Day 4: Corrective Exercise Assessments - A detailed assessment of each player's postural imbalances. Understanding one’s muscular imbalances provides the athlete with the root cause to their limitations in flexibility, strength, and movement. This is also important in preventing future injury. Day 5: Implementing camp into everyday life/training Lecture summarizing the contents of the camp Day 6: Send off After our last skate, we will have an hour where us coaches will take questions and provide feedback to any players seeking it.
